This week’s theme was… How We Express Ourselves
Week four of Summer School was a lot of fun! We learnt all about how we express ourselves with sight, sound, tasting, feelings and talking! We learned some songs, played games, did charades, cooked and engaged in some science experiments!
Day 1 – Monday, July 30th 2018
Today in our Morning Meeting, we sang the songs “What’s Your Name,” “Where is Thumbkin” and “Shake Your Sillies Out.” After we got acquainted with each other, we made bottle top clocks during Mathematics class, told time and counted. We, then, had a good time playing computer games with Mr. Varmiq. This activity paved the way for video dancing and exercising. The children made name tags too. In the afternoon, we made glycerin soap during Science with different mold shapes like hearts and fish. The soap that we made is actually usable and so try it at home. “Curious George” and a movie about cleaning up messes helped us obtain more English and finished our day off…Read more - Newsletter - PDF
