Facilities & Campuses
Shinagawa International School offers three campuses and various facilities to inspire and empower our students.
SIS aoyoko Campus (Preschool – kindergarten)
At our Aoyoko Campus, we welcome young learners aged 3 to 5 to the Early Learning Center, where they embark on their educational journey through the IB PYP Early Years curriculum. Introduced at this facility in 2025, the program embraces a play-based approach, grounded in the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate, which encourages curiosity, inquiry, and exploration while fostering language, motor, social, and academic development in a nurturing environment. The center also features a safe and engaging outdoor playground, providing children with additional opportunities for physical growth, creativity, and social interaction.

SIS Seaside Campus (grAdes 1 – 3)
At our Seaside Campus, we welcome students from Grade 1 to Grade 3, where they continue their educational journey through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). This inquiry-based curriculum builds on the foundations of the Early Years, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning while supporting students’ language, social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing environment.
The campus features spacious classrooms, dedicated music and art spaces, a gym, a well-stocked library, and a rooftop playground, creating a vibrant and engaging setting that supports both academic growth and creative exploration.

SIS SAMEZU Campus (Grades 4–12)
At our Samezu Campus, we provide a holistic educational environment with spacious classrooms, a gym, dedicated areas for music, visual arts, and design, a modern science lab, and a comprehensive library and media center. We emphasize the importance of outdoor recreation by using the nearby Samezu Soccer Field for sports lessons and recess, while our indoor gym ensures continued physical activity during extreme weather, prioritizing student well-being.
Access
Library and Media Center
Our library and media center are vibrant learning hubs that enrich the educational experience through resources tailored to each age group. The Seaside library houses over 15,000 volumes, including fiction, non-fiction, picture books, and periodicals. Non-fiction books are categorized by transdisciplinary themes to support the PYP curriculum. Students develop research skills during library periods, using laptops for online checkouts. The libraries at the Seaside and Samezu Campuses offer flexible, welcoming spaces that support collaborative study, independent work, and quiet reading, encouraging exploration, inquiry, and intellectual growth for students of all grade levels.
