PTA at SIS
Learn about the SIS PTA’s mission to enhance education and build an inclusive community, how to get involved, and the structure of the PTA leadership committee.
Strengthening Education and Family Connections
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at SIS is a parent-led volunteer group focused on two main goals. First, it aims to support projects that enhance the educational experience for all children. Second, it strives to create an inclusive community where every family feels welcome and supported.
A Community of Participation and Leadership
All families at SIS automatically become members of the PTA, and parents are encouraged to participate by volunteering at events, running for committee or class representative roles, or assisting in PTA-sponsored projects. The PTA is governed by a constitution and managed by a seven-member committee, including five parent volunteers (president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and health and well-being coordinator), the head of school, and a staff representative. Additionally, event coordinators and class representatives support PTA activities across various divisions.
