This year’s Japanese Culture Day was led by Grade 6 and Grade 7 students who took the lead in organizing the whole event. They researched traditional Japanese games and created a few handmade games of their own. Grade 4 students looked for Japanese shrines and after learning a lot of facts about them, they built their shrines. Grade 2 performed the puppet show “Omusubi Kororin”. All the students designed their own Hagoita boards using paper clay. It was a fun day for all the students to learn about Japanese culture!
