International Children’s Day 2019 has always been a calling card for our school to show off our units of inquiry to our local community.
This year, our students did a great job again throughout the Celebration of Learning April 2019. Grade 5/6 started the COL with singing the Let it be song.
Shinagawa International School Grade 3 students and Ms Lauren visited ‘Aomonoyoukocho Ehon Nursery School` and did a reading Exchange Activity with them.
Today was Japanese Culture Day at SIS and everyone got to participate in some great Japanese activities and appreciate the country that we all live in.
There are also New After School Programs at SIS for this term such as karate, ballet dance course and soccer course by KONAMI Sports Club coaches.
This week the children gave many excellent winter performance of their musical production and drama. Everyone very much enjoyed the fantastic performances.
What an amazing time we had when we went to the Shinagawa Aqua Park for the Family Day Field trip. We saw lots of amazing fish and sea creatures.
SIS Literacy Week October 2018 was full of activities. D.E.A.R. – Drop Everything And Read: Each class had time to “Drop Everything And Read!”.
SIS has been promoting the IB Learner Profile – Inquirer attributes school-wide during our Tuesday morning meetings and Library time.
